Metropolitan Community College-Longview Offers One of the Best Automotive Programs in the US
Metropolitan Community College-Longview, also known as MCC-Longview, is famous for its excellent automotive technology programs in the United States. It also provides a platform to enter 4-year academies upon completion of courses here.
Brief history
Originally established as Kansas City Polytechnic Institute in 1915, the college has gone through a number of name changes. Until 2005 it was known as Longville Community College and was renamed Metropolitan Community College-Longview in 2005.
Campus
Five campuses are operated by MCC. The main center is located at Lee’s Summit while the others are Penn Valley Campus in Kansas City, Maple Woods Campus in Kansas City, Blue River Campus in Independence, and Business and Technology College located in Kansas City . 5 campus divisions are humanities; Mathematics, Engineering and Physics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Business.

MCC-Longview prepares students to enter a four-year college or pursue careers of their choice. A variety of certificates and degree programs are offered to students. Admission
